Western Disturbance Brings Rain, Hail, and Strong Winds to Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed under the influence of a western disturbance. Rain, hail and lightning will occur for the next few days. Strong winds of 40 to 60 kmph speed will continue till May 7. Hailstorms may also occur in some places. Heat wave conditions are not expected for about a week. There is a warning of hail and rain in 42 districts of UP on Tuesday. These include Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Sonbhadra, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, among others. Orange alert of hail has been issued in 12 districts. Most of the districts of UP received rain amid strong winds a day before on May 4. The sky in the capital Lucknow went dark at 9 am. According to the Meteorological Department, a period of heavy rain has started. According to the Meteorological Department, on May 5, there will also be dark clouds in UP.
