Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Samajwadi Party founder late Mulayam Singh Yadav and younger brother of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, passed away on Wednesday (13 May 2026) morning in Lucknow. His sudden demise at the age of just 38 has sent shock waves not only in the family, but also in the political circles. Prateek Yadav was the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav.
